Blackberry Hydrosol Distillation

I made a batch of Blackberry leaf and stem hydrosol today. About 1 gallon of plant material made about one quart of hydrosol.

The main run did not take long, maybe 20 minutes. The cleaning and clearing runs before hand take the majority of the time.

I separated the run into two jars, with the tails jar smelling a tad less potent. I may mix them together.

The hardest part is keeping the condensor water cool enough. Make sure to have ice ready!

Overall I am satisfied with the process and the result.
