Easy Breakfast: Avocado Toast

Gourmet treatment with minimal effort!

Bagel1 whole
Cream Cheese1 oz (divided)
Avocado1/2 of the whole
Salt1/4 teaspoon
Total prep time is 15 minutes

Prep

You will need a knife, a toaster, and a fork. Slice Avocado in half. (Place unused portion facedown into a bowl with 1/2 inch of water and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours.)

Step One

Slice your Bagel in half and toast it to your desired crispiness.

Step Two

Once toasted, spread 1/2oz layer of Cream Cheese on each half.

Step Three

Scoop out the flesh of 1/2 of the Avocado into a bowl. Add Salt and mash it lightly with a fork to achieve a creamy texture.

Step Four

Spread the mashed avocado on top of the cream cheese layer.

Step Five

Add a dash of Pepper, and any additional toppings you desire, such as a squeeze of lemon juice or red pepper flakes. Enjoy!

Good Idea:

Top with an egg to increase the protein or spinach for extra nutrients, or both!
